The Effect of Nutrition and Sleep Habits and Physical Activity Status on the Weight of University Students DuringCOVID-19 Quarantine: Cross-Sectional Study

Objective: This study was executed to examine the effect of weight changes based on nutritional and sleeping habits physical activity status ''students department nutrition dietetics'' physiotherapy rehabilitation'' during coronavirus disease-2019 quarantine. Material Methods: 50 students from each were included in crosssectional study. Their demographic characteristics, height, weight, sleep habits, food consumption questioned through survey. Results: In quarantine, 0.95 kg gain observed whose mean age 21.26±1.2 years. It found that weights increased by 2.45 with less than 6 hours, 1.18 above 10 hours. Weights longer sitting time per day decreased time. average quarantine 2.51 those who lacked activity, this associated appetite level, total number meals day. Consumption pastries desserts 50%, milk, homemade yoghurt, cheese, eggs, black tea, coffee 40-67%, these increases resulted gain. Weight gains did not pay attention their energy intake, 34-45% social media use anxiety increased. Conclusion: most students, addition eating more, adverse sleep, stress, led gains.
